The Asian Health and Service Center is a 28,000 SF, three-story, structural steel, mixed-use building designed to LEED Gold and will contain physical and mental health care space, offices, and community and event space. The ground floor will house a commercial space to be occupied by Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic. Its second floor will contain office space and conference rooms which will be made available for community use and the top floor will feature a 6,000 SF multipurpose hall for community events as well as consulting rooms, a resource library, a commercial kitchen and an outdoor terrace with a movable storefront for all-season use. The building will have both medical offices and exam/treatment rooms for mental health, Chinese and naturopathic medicine, and massage therapy. In addition, the included Mandarin Immersion preschool will teach approximately 60 children.

Since its inception in 1983, Asian Health & Service Center has served more than 10,000 Asians living in the tri-county Portland Metropolitan Area.  This project will allow the nonprofit to expand and add new programs to provide cultural and language-specific preventive and integrated health care for both Asians and the broader Lents community.
