Seen from the stair tower, the Domaine Serene Winery has a 360° view of the vineyards, the hills and the valleys beyond. The 55,000 SF facility includes several levels—Cellar, Cave, Fermentation, Harvest, and Housing. Partially buried in the hillside to take advantage of the earth’s natural climate control and the existing slope of the landscape for gravity-fed process piping, the winery has high-end finishes comparable to the finest five-star hotels.

Trowelled limestone was created from French powdered limestone. Cherry handrails guide visitors up the stair in the viewing tower while granite flooring is a highlighted feature in the Cave. Custom windows, doors, and shutters patterned after French windows, a Spanish clay tile roof and exterior stucco add to the authenticity of the Old World feel and are enhanced by timber beams salvaged and re-milled in Portland.
