George Fleming Place, for repeat client Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI), broke ground in early June 2020. The project is located in the Rainier Valley neighborhood of Seattle, situated across the street from the Othello Playground, one block away from the Othello Light Rail Station, and near other completed WALSH projects on this transit corridor: Mercy Othello Plaza (2017), Providence Peter Claver House (2001) and Kenyon House (2008). Within the seven-story building, there are 106 apartments available to those making up to 60% AMI, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and community areas to serve a mix of families and small households.
