Gardner House Apartments is a transit-oriented affordable housing community developed by Mercy Housing Northwest, in partnership with Paul G. Allen Philanthropies, the City of Seattle, and the Seattle Seahawks. Located in Seattle’s Mount Baker neighborhood, the eight-story building is one block away form the Mount Baker Link Light Rail Station, two blocks from a King County Metro bus transit hub, and less than three miles from downtown.

The affordable housing community holds 95 one- and two-bedroom apartments spread throughout 107,855 SF, which are provided to families either experiencing homelessness or with low incomes through King County’s Entry for All — a program connecting families at risk to support services and housing resources. At ground level, 8,200 SF of space is dedicated to Allen Community Center, a Family Resource Center serving Seattle-area families with children experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

At the first level, 8,200 square feet is dedicated to a family resource and education center. Half of the units are available to families with a history of homelessness through King County’s Coordinated Entry for All – a program connecting families at risk to support services and housing resources. This 8-story residential building is at the center of the Mt. Baker neighborhood, only a block away from the Beacon Hill Link light rail stop, and less than three miles from downtown.
