Parkview at Terwilliger Plaza is a new 11-story, 370,000 SF high-rise building that adds 127 independent living apartments to an existing three-building senior living campus in Portland. A beacon of sustainability and innovation, this addition provides space for up to 250 residents.

The project is being built to Passive House principles — a meticulous sustainable program with rigorous and testable standards. Passive House seeks to maximize a building’s energy efficiency while maintaining a measurable comfort level. Demanding 50-100% more insulation in walls and roofs than standard construction, the structure will be built for outstanding thermal performance. Parkview’s signature skybridge will also be a celebration of innovation, soaring above 6th Avenue, and a direct connection to the entire Terwilliger Plaza community.
