In 2007 WALSH completed a 265,000 SF senior housing development on an 18-acre site for Wesley Homes on Lea Hill in Auburn. Having a history of great quality work and an excellent relationship with this repeat client, WALSH recently secured two separate projects.

Our most recent work was on the now complete renovation of the Wesley Homes Des Moines’ Terrace, which included fully remodeled lounges on multiple club levels, updates to common amenity spaces, and a new bistro, art studio, classroom, library, reception, and entry area.

WALSH’s second project for Wesley Homes Des Moines is in progress. This two-phase project, across the street from the Terrace building, will include the demolition of existing structures to make way for new cottages and a town center. New construction will include 32 cottage homes within five buildings and a brownstone building for assisted living. Wesley Homes Des Moines provides housing and eldercare to seniors and offers a variety of health services including personal care, hospice care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation.
