Northwest Housing Alternatives’ Buri Building located in Portland’s Gateway neighborhood was designed as a transit-oriented development. The 90,940 sf, 159-unit structure consists of 102 studio, 51 one-bedroom, and six two-bedroom units of workforce housing. Also included are supportive offices, a resident courtyard, community room, bike parking, and common laundry and utility spaces.

The Buri Building is a designated Regional Center in Metro’s 2040 Growth Concept plan and is the first project in the area that requires pedestrian path to improve circulation in the large blocks of the Gateway district.
