The expansion for PHC at their campus headquarters in Northeast Portland, also constructed by WALSH, included construction of a 97,000 SF steel-frame warehouse with a 15,000 SF mezzanine. The building, unlike most warehouses, has a very distinct sloped roof system with skylights and clearstory glazing, which maximizes the amount of natural light and ventilation. The project also included the largest rooftop mounted photovoltaic system ever installed in the Northwest.

Portland Habilitation Center (PHC) is now Relay Resources, a Qualified Rehabilitation Facility whose mission is to assist individuals with disabilities by providing the training they need to develop their skills so that they may obtain and maintain meaningful work.
