Wesley Homes Project Progressing in Des Moines, WA

Amazing progress out at the Wesley Phase 3 project in Des Moines, Washington. It’s exciting to see how far this 178,000 sf addition to the campus has come! You’ll see the wood framing is wrapping up on the 5-story catered living and memory care building, which also will include a fitness center and common areas, while metal framing is nearly complete on the 2-story building housing the skilled nursing facility.

Kudos to our WALSH team of Marc StreleskiAnthony Mizin, Randy Cossette, Juanita McLaughlin, Qasim G., Michael Corpus, Joe Geise, Ryan Gidley, Cindie Banta, and Mike Bang. And to our project partners WesleyInSite Architects, Inc., and Senior Housing Partners.

Construction begins on LIHI Good Shepherd

Work has officially begun on Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI)’s Good Shepherd Housing, a 7-story, 86-unit permanent supportive housing building located in the Seattle’s Central District. The site belongs to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd and was the location of Seattle’s first ever tiny house village beginning in 2015. Now it will become a safe haven for individuals exiting homelessness and low-wage workers.

Beautifully designed by Runberg Architecture Group, the building amenities include on-site case management and staff offices, a common room, and several outdoor spaces, including a rooftop deck. Needless to say, our team was excited to get some dirt moving! Congratulations to LIHI and the entire project team!
