NHA Campus Redevelopment Four Weeks Ahead of Schedule!

We would like to share a deep congratulations to Northwest Housing Alternatives (NHA) on the success of their beautiful Campus Redevelopment and Net-Zero Headquarters four weeks ahead of schedule! Having made due for 30 years operating their non-profit and family shelter out of three single family houses, NHA was in need of suitable facilities to support their work of providing much needed affordable housing to the community. We are thrilled and honored to have been the general contractor as O’Neill/Walsh Community Builders (OWCB) (one of our partners projects with O’Neill Construction Group)! We want to thank MWA Architects for their exceptional designs and communication as well as so many dedicated subcontractors and vendors. Huge thanks to our team of Ali O’Neill, Afton WalshAaron Elliott, Drew Anderson, Nick Cardoza and Sara Schubert!!

The Campus includes: 28 units of new, permanent, affordable housing, 60% expansion of the new Annie Ross House emergency family shelter and an Operations Center (Built with a Net Zero goal!) to guide services for over 2,800 people each year! The site also includes a resident community room, resident services and property management spaces, on-site parking, an outdoor terrace, playground, and community garden. The improved facilities will enable NHA to continue to provide crucial housing services for low-income families, veterans, seniors and people with special needs.
