Juanita joined WALSH in 2015 as a Project Engineer and was promoted to Assistant Superintendent in 2018 while nearing completion of The Estelle — permanent supportive housing for DESC (Downtown Emergency Service Center).
Juanita is currently working on DESC Hobson Place which honors the legacy of the late former 31-year director, Bill Hobson. Designed by Runberg Architecture Group, Hobson Place will offer 177 apartments and a full-scale healthcare clinic to meet the needs of people living with disabilities and experiencing long periods of homelessness.
