Brand new siding, windows and many other features have just been added to our Hobson Place project, a new supportive housing building with a 177 homes in total. WALSH has 59 years of experience with the affordable housing sector, and this project really details what it is we strive for in a successful housing development. DESC Director Daniel Malone described this project as, “the most ambitious development project undertaken by DESC thus far.”
We see evidence to these claims by the amount of potential homeless individuals the building will serve along with any of those who may be suffering from severe medical circumstances. The building will include a 24,000 SF facility for primary and behavioral healthcare that will serve both residents and the community. This particular demographic is often overlooked and under served, so we look forward to this development being a successful and supportive part of the Seattle area!
