We are pleased to announce that Pioneer Human Services Aspen Terrace project has achieved their Certificate of Occupancy this week! This an enormous achievement for our project teams and the community. Congrats to RDF Builders and the Walsh team of Sandi Tovias, Karen Moon, Mike Jensen, Brian Lenz, Mariah David, Anthony Sherman and Marwa Zahid for working through constantly changing guidelines and challenges associated with COVID-19 to keep everyone safe and the project on schedule.
SMR Architects, Walsh, our subcontractors and consultants performed an amazing redevelopment of this complex urban site which previously was a housing facility owned by Pioneer. The 7-story Aspen Terrace building includes 91 new affordable homes over 2,000 SF of community space, as well as additional space for a supportive services program for tenants. We are proud to partner with Pioneer Human Services supporting their mission to help transition residents of Seattle who have been impacted by incarceration or homelessness.
