Revitalizations to Van Vista Are Complete!

We are thrilled with the completion of the revitalizations to Van Vista — an affordable, assisted senior living community for Vancouver Housing Authority (VHA) designed by MWA Architects, Inc. The 95-unit, 10-story building underwent extensive renovations, including all living units, community space, building envelope updates and replacement of major mechanical systems and it turned out beautifully!

The mission of the VHA is to provide opportunities to people who experience barriers to housing because of income, disability, or special needs in an environment which preserves personal dignity and in a manner which maintains the public trust. The VHA is nationally recognized for their innovations in affordable housing and resident services and for their range of resident services and collaborations with community partners. An example of which is this beautiful mural — painted by Vancouver art teacher, Travis London, for the residents of Van Vista.
A huge thank you to our WALSH team of Chuck Moore, Forrest Gonzales, Beverly Culp, Patrick Dengsot and Linda Woolery for their diligent and safe work on this occupied project ensuring the health and wellness of all !
