Thrilled to Start Construction on Parkview Senior Living for Terwilliger Plaza!

We are honored to begin work on the Parkview Senior Living campus expansion for Terwilliger Plaza — the continuation of a vibrant community that is an independent, not-for-profit which was opened by retired teachers in 1962. This beautiful new 10-story, mid-rise building will be connected to Terwilliger Plaza by a sky bridge above 6th Avenue. Designed by Portland-based architecture firm LRS Architects, the building’s 127 new independent living apartments will incorporate balconies, green walls and roofs, and large windows to provide residents with access to the natural world.

Parkview will be built with the highest regards for sustainability, prioritizing energy conservation and strategies that reduce energy requirements in keeping with Passive House design. Terwilliger Plaza President and CEO, Bob Johnson, and the WALSH team make it official with the signing of the contract – the largest contract ever signed by WALSH.
Our WALSH team of Craig Leonnig, Ted Friedman, Patrick Dengsot, Jenny Schneider and Caitlin B. Kelley are thrilled to start construction!
