RiverPlace Parcel 3 for Bridge Housing

Excellent construction of  the 187,448 SF plus 178 unit RiverPlace Parcel 3 which is an important step towards meeting local affordable housing goals.

Our onsite teams prepare a grid of tendons which are high-tensile metal cables inside sheathing and rebar for a post-tensioned concrete slab. After concrete is poured and cured, the tendons are “stressed” – tensioned using hydraulic jacks. The tendons are then anchored to the concrete’s outer edge.

Residents will enjoy easy access to the Portland streetcar (a stop located out front of the building), the MAX light rail system, various retail and health services within walking distance. Since 1983, BRIDGE Housing Corporation’s primary goal has been to produce high-quality homes for seniors and families at a variety of income levels, with a focus on those who are not served by the housing market. We are proud to continue our long-standing partnership with this mission-driven nonprofit on this essential work.

Huge shoutout to our WALSH team of Brian JohnsonNick Leeding, John Hardesty, Ronnie Rust and Linda Woolery for their dedicated efforts in the work! We look forward to sharing the continued progress of this exceptional project.
