Happy Valley’s first affordable housing development is underway! Good Shepherd Village is Catholic Charities of Oregon’s second project in their Healthy Housing Initiative and their largest project to date! Once complete, the project will provide 143 affordable homes, and Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) for those who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness, including units prioritized for veterans who have experienced homelessness.

This property was generously donated to us nearly a decade ago with the vision that low-income people would be able to afford to live in an area with such great opportunities, and we’re excited to see that vision finally realized.”
