It was a great day for a project tour at the Catholic Charities of Oregon Good Shepherd Village project !
As the first regulated affordable housing development within the city limits of Happy Valley, this groundbreaking project will provide 143 affordable apartments for low-income families, veterans and seniors in Happy Valley! Part of its innovative Healthy Housing Initiative, Catholic Charities will be working in conjunction with Providence Health & Services to connect newly-housed residents with primary health and mental health care, work to decrease hospital readmission rates among homeless persons and proactively address the challenges of chronic homelessness in our region.
