This American flag was hand-made by our craftspeople in honor of our veterans.

This American flag was hand-made by our craftspeople in honor of our veterans. We used wood reclaimed from trees onsite for our veteran’s housing project being built for Northwest Housing Alternatives. We are so grateful to be a part of the Pleasant Avenue Apartments in Oregon City which will bring permanent affordable housing to our veterans. In honor of Veteran’s Day, we at Walsh Construction Co. want to thank all of our veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice, this day and every day.

Advanced Framing to reduce costs, maintain quality and increase energy efficiency.

In an effort to reduce costs, maintain quality and increase energy efficiency, REACH Community DevelopmentAnkrom Moisan Architects, Inc., Stonewood Structural Engineers and Walsh Construction Co. teamed up to explore advanced framing techniques for the development of new affordable housing. By applying an optimized wall assembly design, the partners discovered a way to bring economic, environmental and social benefits to affordable housing owners, developers and residents.

To find out how this wall can benefit your next development, read our brochure at the link below!

In Honor of September 11th

In honor of 9/11, on September 11th in Eugene, Oregon, several local fire-fighters, and four of our tradespeople, climbed 110 flights of stairs on our Ya Po Ah Affordable Senior Housing Renovation project for Evergreen Union Retirement Association. We are grateful to support the brave men and women who commit their lives to be of service to our community as first responders and we honor our tradespeople who also work in risky situations to build and preserve our way of life.
