Artist Kenji Hamai Stoll at the Gardner House and Allen Family Center
We feel so fortunate to have been the builder on this project! “When Tacoma public artist Kenji Hamai Stoll began sketching out the design of the mural that would adorn the exterior of the Gardner House and Allen Family Center, he knew it needed to be more than a beautiful piece of art. It needed to connect with the surrounding community.
Affordable, service-enriched housing for Pioneer Human Services
Time seems to fly by nowadays! It’s been about a year since we broke ground on a new, seven-story, 90-unit apartment complex in the heart of the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle in partnership with Pioneer Human Services
This project will support residents of Seattle who have been affected by incarceration or homelessness as they transition into affordable, service-enriched housing. The new building will include community space, a spacious classroom and case management support.
WALSH is pleased to continue our long tradition of building complex, infill projects on tight, urban sites in partnership with mission-driven organizations like Pioneer Human Services. We look forward to completion in late 2020!
