Brand new siding, windows and many other features have just been added to our Hobson Place project, a new supportive housing building with a 177 homes in total. WALSH has 59 years of experience with the affordable housing sector, and this project really details what it is we strive for in a successful housing development. DESC Director Daniel Malone described this project as, “the most ambitious development project undertaken by DESC thus far.”

Today, Tomorrow and Friday as Mercy Housing Northwest is hosting a virtual opening ceremony where we will get an inside look at the newly developed and vibrant Gardner House, beautifully designed by Runberg Architecture Group and located in the Mt. Baker neighborhood of Seattle. Take a gaze at all of the beautiful additions Gardner House has to offer including the brand new Family Resource Center and the Beautiful Mural Designed by Kenji Stoll!

Building Tiny Homes with Low Income Housing Institute!
We would like to celebrate and highlight our partnership with the Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI) in continuing support for their Tiny House Villages. In response to the COVID-19 health crisis, LIHI is increasing the number of locations and overall number of tiny homes around Seattle in order to provide people comfortable and safe homes where they can meet all their basic needs and achieve safe distancing from their neighbors.

Beautiful work by all involved on the 18-story, 210-unit, historic Ya-Po-Ah Terrace renovations – the tallest building in Eugene, Oregon! The extensive renovations and improvements will allow the owner, Evergreen Union Retirement Association, a private nonprofit organization formed by five local labor unions, to continue to serve seniors with much needed affordable housing in Eugene for many more years.
