Evan Erickson Joins the Estimating Team!
WALSH team member Evan Erickson has joined the Washington Estimating team! After joining WALSH as a Project Engineer in 2018, Evan gained valuable experience on projects such as Grays Harbor RAD Conversion in Aberdeen, WA, and Chief Seattle Club ɁálɁal.

We are thrilled to celebrate with Bridge Meadows and Carleton Hart Architecture PC the grand opening of Bridge Meadows|Redmond and in welcoming children, parents, and elders to their new homes in Central Oregon! We are honored to partner with Bridge Meadows in their dedication to building intentional intergenerational living for the benefit of families and seniors. Our two organizations have celebrated the success of building three intergenerational communities together over the past 10 years – North Portland, Beaverton and now Redmond. What started as a concept that had major headwinds in the beginning, is now being celebrated nationally for bringing innovative solutions to healthy living for families and seniors. PAE Living Building Tour for Sustainable Building Week !
Our team had a great time hosting a tour of the PAE Living Building for Sustainable Building Week ! The tour learned about advancements in composting toilets, micro grids and repurposing trees from on-site into beautiful reception desks! Thanks to SBW for their efforts and congratulations to the entire team of PAE, ZGF Architects, Edlen & Company and our team at WALSH on the home stretch of this beautiful and innovative building.

Tanner joined our team as a Summer Intern in 2015 and 2016, working on the Vantage Apartments, 8th Ave. Apartments, Plaza Roberto Maestas and the Spring District projects. After graduating in 2017 from Central Washington University with a degree in Construction Management, Tanner rejoined our team as a Project Engineer at the Lake City Family Housing Project. He was promoted to Assistant Superintendent in 2019 where he worked on additional notable projects including 2020 Jackson and Little Saigon. Tanner is currently working on the Cedar Crossing project — 253 affordable homes for a joint partnership with Bellwether Housing and Mercy Housing Northwest!

Haki graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Business and Applied Economics while also playing cornerback for the Ducks! Originally from the great city of Chicago, Haki is excited to pursue a career in construction and is currently onsite with our Mercy Housing Northwest team in Vancouver building affordable housing for the community. Ethiopian Village for HumanGood Breaks Ground !
After many years of community visioning by the Ethiopian Community of Seattle (ECS) and long-time Walsh client HumanGood, we are excited to break ground on the Ethiopian Village project in southeast Seattle! This project will provide 90 affordable senior apartments and a renovated community gathering space to ECS and HumanGood, who are co-owners of the project. Expected completion in December 2022.

Matt graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Construction Management in 2017 and joined our team in 2018 as a Project Engineer, working on the Spring District II project. He is currently working on the Northhaven III project. Matt’s additional notable projects include Mount Baker Family Housing and Pioneer Belmont.
