Linfield University | W.M. Keck Science Center

Construction is progressing beautifully on the Linfield University Campus for the W.M. Keck Science Center to create a state-of-the-art science center impacting all Linfield science departments. In an effort to minimize disruption and keep employees and classrooms in place as long as possible, construction on the McMinnville campus has been phased-in demolition, construction and then the renovation process. Designed by SRG Partnership, this project is critical to Linfield’s distinctive science education, fostering new levels of student engagement and empowering cross-disciplinary, research-oriented STEM programs!

What an incredible senior living community and project!

It was a beautiful day on July 15 when the team celebrated the groundbreaking for Parkview Senior Living campus expansion for Terwilliger Plaza — the continuation of a vibrant community that is an independent, not-for-profit which was opened by retired teachers in 1962. Many were in attendance to celebrate the groundbreaking, including U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer.

For the second time this month, WALSH hosted Governor Jay Inslee at one of our projects.

For the second time this month, WALSH hosted Governor Jay Inslee at one of our projects. Friday morning, he visited our Cedar Crossing project, a 250-unit mixed project that represents a public-private partnership between Bellwether HousingMercy Housing NW and Sound Transit. The project will set aside housing for children with high medical needs and their families through a partnership with Seattle Children’s /Mary’s Place. It will also offer housing to veterans and their families as well as to senior veterans. A public plaza, child care center and ground-floor retail will provide services for transit riders and the broader neighborhood.  The project is immediately adjacent to the Roosevelt Light Rail Station which is due to open in late 2021.

Groundbreaking for 178 Affordable Homes for Families !

The team took a minute to celebrate the groundbreaking of RiverPlace Parcel 3, where nonprofit BRIDGE Housing Corporation is bringing a second phase of mixed-use affordable housing to the neighborhood. The development will provide 178 affordable homes to families and will include a community room, landscaped courtyard and play area, common laundry rooms, 267 bike parking spaces, and 3,668 SF of ground-floor commercial space. Impact NW will provide resident services by offering job training, parenting support, and opportunities for children. …Read More

Groundbreaking for Westwind Apartments for Central City Concern

What an incredible team and an awesome project ! We are thrilled to break ground on The Westwind Apartments with Works Progress Architecture, LLP for Central City Concern — 100 new homes of both permanent supportive housing and affordable housing for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness or community members with limited incomes. Additional key project partners include Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest, Inc. (NARA) and the Imani Center to offer culturally specific programming for Native American and African American individuals.
