PAE Living Building is on Track!

What an incredible project and team! The PAE Living Building team has not missed a beat despite the pandemic, wildfires, ice storms and the recent heat wave. This incredibly innovative International Living Future Institute Living Building project, which is taking sustainability and earthquake resilience to new heights, is set to meet completion and budget goals with a September opening. We would love to thank our WALSH management team of Ed SloopKent UsherAdam Klauba and Linda Woolery and the incredible onsite team who have worked diligently through it all led by superintendent Kyle Heckaman with Sam SullivanSteffen Schulz and so many more.

WALSH to Build Lam Bow Apartments in West Seattle for Seattle Housing Authority !

WALSH is excited to have been selected to build the Seattle Housing Authority’s Lam Bow Apartments in West Seattle. This project will re-establish our partnership with SHA and support their goal to build 80 new apartments along a transit corridor in the West Seattle neighborhood. We are proud to be part of this transformative project which is replacing an SHA building which was demolished after a major fire five years ago.

Welcome to Ronnie Rust – Project Engineer!

The Portland office is excited to share that we have hired a new Project Engineer – Ronnie Rust! Currently, he is working with the team on the Riverplace Phase 2 project, which is the second building in a new development by BRIDGE Housing Corporation that will bring 176 much-needed new affordable housing units to the South Waterfront area.

Thrilled to Start Construction on Parkview Senior Living for Terwilliger Plaza!

We are honored to begin work on the Parkview Senior Living campus expansion for Terwilliger Plaza — the continuation of a vibrant community that is an independent, not-for-profit which was opened by retired teachers in 1962. This beautiful new 10-story, mid-rise building will be connected to Terwilliger Plaza by a sky bridge above 6th Avenue. Designed by Portland-based architecture firm LRS Architects, the building’s 127 new independent living apartments will incorporate balconies, green walls and roofs, and large windows to provide residents with access to the natural world.
